Industrial-grade materials designed to deliver outstanding results with MATTERSHAPER 3D Printers.
MATTERSHAPER Filaments, formulated to ensure the highest print quality, are polymers commonly used
in several industries and cover the majority of the technical applications.
ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a thermoplastic 3D printing filament characterized by its reliability, stiffness,
strength, and impact resistance. It is also characterized by higher dimensional stability and chemical resistance. These features make
it applicable for engineering, prototyping, testing of function, part assembly and a lot more. ABS 3D printed parts are used in
many end products such as electronics cases, toys, and automotive body parts.
PLA (Polylactide) is a non-toxic, bio-based industrial thermoplastic that is 100% bio-degradable. It is the most commonly
used filament in FFF 3D printers because of its ease of handling and a wide range of applications, especially those not mechanically or thermally demanding.
PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified) is an industrial thermoplastic 3D printing filament with excellent chemical resistance.
PETG is strong, durable, with good heat resistance, and is as easy to print as PLA. PETG 3D printed parts can be used for prototyping,
function-testing, parts assembly and much more.
Nylon or PA (Polyamide) is a widely applied engineering and industrial plastic due to its outstanding mechanical performance with good toughness,
strength, and impact resistance. It is appropriate for tools and functional end-use parts.
In addition, its low friction coefficient is ideal for ergonomic tools and moving parts.
